Despite facing public scrutiny over their nearly 50-year age gap, legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, are standing firm in their relationship. The 73-year-old former New England Patriots leader addressed the criticism head-on in a recent CBS Sunday Morning interview, making it clear that outside opinions won’t dictate their happiness.
“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks,” Belichick said in the April 27 interview. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.” When pressed about how the couple met, Hudson, 24, swiftly shut down the conversation with a firm, “Not talking about this.”
Though Belichick has largely avoided discussing their relationship publicly, he subtly acknowledged her influence in his new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, where he refers to her as his “creative muse.”
The pair first sparked dating rumors after making their red-carpet debut at the American Museum of Natural History’s 2024 Museum Gala last December. However, the spotlight intensified when they appeared together at the 2025 NFL Honors in February, where host Snoop Dogg couldn’t resist poking fun at their age difference.
Hudson later hinted at their origin story in an Instagram post celebrating their “meetiversary,” revealing they first crossed paths in 2021 when Belichick signed her copy of Deductive Logic, a philosophy textbook.
Despite the jokes and raised eyebrows, the couple remains unfazed. Earlier this month, Hudson stood by Belichick’s side as he celebrated his 73rd birthday, sharing a glamorous photo from the festivities.
“Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my twin flame,” she captioned the post, borrowing a term famously used by Megan Fox to describe Machine Gun Kelly. In the images, Belichick appeared dapper in a dark gray suit, while Hudson dazzled in a shimmering green gown. The celebration included a two-tiered birthday cake—with Belichick even playfully feeding her a bite.
