Tia Mowry and Gabrielle Union Enjoy Spring Break with Their Blended Families in San Diego

Actresses Tia Mowry and Gabrielle Union, along with Nicole Lyn, turned their spring break into a heartwarming family affair, bringing their children together for a sun-soaked getaway in San Diego. Mowry, 46, shared glimpses of their vacation in an Instagram post on Monday, April 7, capturing the joyful moments between their kids.

The Sister, Sister star posted a series of photos and videos featuring her 6-year-old daughter, Cairo, having fun alongside Union’s 5-year-old daughter, Kaavia James, and Lyn’s 6-year-old son, Crosby Sparrow. The trip was a celebration of friendship and family, with the three actresses blending their loved ones for a memorable escape.

Mowry, who also shares 13-year-old son Cree with ex-husband Cory Hardrict, kicked off her post with a playful beachside selfie alongside Union, 52, and Lyn. The carousel also included sweet snapshots of the kids bonding—whether swinging at a playground, cuddling before bedtime, or grinning in the pool with their goggles on.

The fun didn’t stop there. Mowry’s Instagram reel showcased the children’s adventures, from dance parties on the bed to roasting s’mores and indulging in chocolate pastries. Even the moms got in on the fun, mixing up fruity cocktails in a lighthearted moment. When Mowry asked Union how much tequila she wanted, Union jokingly replied, “A lot,” before settling on a generous “free pour.” The two eventually agreed on four shots per drink, with Mowry laughing, “She’s trying to get me messed up!” After tasting their creation, Union declared it “fire” and “packing a punch.”

Reflecting on the trip, Mowry expressed gratitude in her caption, writing, “Our spring break getaway was exactly what I needed! I had the best time in San Diego spending quality time with @gabunion @ms_nix and our beautiful blended family.” She added, “It’s such a gift to blend families with people you love, not just for us, but for our kids too. Watching Cairo, Kaavia, and Crosby’s sweet friendship grow and seeing them make memories together just melts my heart. 🥹💛 It was simple, but so special. I truly cherish every moment.”

Lyn echoed the sentiment in the comments, writing, “open arms & full hearts ♾️💞,” sealing the post with a touching tribute to their shared bond. The getaway not only provided relaxation but also reinforced the beauty of chosen family and lifelong friendships.
