Robert Irwin is trading his signature khakis for something a little more daring. The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist and son of the late Steve Irwin set pulses racing as the face of Bonds Australia’s new underwear campaign—posed with snakes, spiders, and lizards while showcasing his toned physique in nothing but boxer briefs.
“Proud to celebrate Australia’s most iconic animals,” Robert captioned his April 3 Instagram reveal, “and the most iconic underwear!” Fans were quick to flood the comments with playful shock, with one joking, “Chill bro, my wife’s on this app,” and another declaring, “Oh my God! Is the world ready for this side of you?!”
The campaign marks a departure from Robert’s usual zoo-ready attire, but his passion for wildlife remains front and center. True to his father’s legacy, he made sure the photoshoot honored Australia’s creatures—scaly and eight-legged included.
Steve Irwin’s fearless spirit lives on in his son, who told E! News in 2022: “What Dad really showed the world was to have appreciation for the natural world and to treat every living being as you’d wish to be treated.” Robert added, “Life is short—we have to live every day to the fullest.”
Between wrangling crocs and now smoldering for the camera, Robert proves the Irwin charm is wilder than ever.
