In a heartfelt episode of Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, Denise Richards, 54, opened up about her daughter Sami Sheen’s decision to undergo rhinoplasty. Richards expressed sadness that Sami felt pressured to change her appearance, saying, “I feel bad that she has to live up to my nose or whatever. I don’t want my daughters to feel they have to look a certain way.”
Sami, 20, revealed she had wanted the procedure “for as long as I can remember,” citing years of bullying and comparisons to her father, Charlie Sheen. “People would say I looked like my dad,” Sami shared. “I even got a comment saying, ‘You’ll never be as pretty as your mom.’”
During her consultation, Sami pointed to Richards’ nose as her inspiration, calling it “perfect.” She underwent the surgery in August 2024, though she initially kept it secret from her family to avoid causing anxiety. Richards eventually told Sami’s younger sister, Lola, 19.
This wasn’t Sami’s first cosmetic procedure—nine months prior, she had a breast augmentation, which she later regretted involving too many people in. “I wish I hadn’t told anyone,” she said, reflecting on the conflicting opinions she received.
After years of feeling self-conscious about her “too droopy” and “too big” nose, Sami proudly debuted her “dream nose” post-surgery. The episode highlighted the pressures of growing up in the spotlight and the journey toward self-acceptance.
