Britney Spears is beaming with pride after spending quality time with her 18-year-old son, Jayden James, during their second reunion since the holidays.
The pop icon shared a heartfelt video on Instagram showcasing Jayden’s impressive piano skills, describing the moment as “so sick” and gushing over his talent in the caption: “WOW WOW WOW!!! He’s a genius, and I’m in awe of him!!! I can’t believe he’s mine!!!”
In the clip, Britney enthusiastically praised Jayden, who appeared to be freestyle rapping while playing. “My son just played, oh my God! I felt it in my bones, and my heart, and my lungs, and my ass, and my throat, and I’m scared!” she exclaimed, clearly moved by his performance.
Jayden responded with a casual “Yes sir,” prompting Britney to cheerfully yell, “Hello!” multiple times.
This heartwarming moment marks a significant step in Britney’s relationship with Jayden, who, along with his older brother Sean Preston, 19, had been mostly estranged from their mother during their teenage years while living with their father, Kevin Federline. The family dynamics shifted last year when Jayden moved back to California from Hawaii, where Federline and his wife, Victoria, had relocated the boys in 2023.
Britney and Jayden reunited on Christmas Day, which she described as the best Christmas of her life. While it’s unclear if Sean was present, Britney hinted at spending time with both sons in her Instagram post about the holiday. Earlier in the year, it was reported that both boys had called Britney for Mother’s Day, and Jayden had visited her several times since returning to California.
