Chrissy Teigen brought some playful mischief to Easter this year with a hilarious prank on her husband, John Legend. The 39-year-old model and actress shared the moment on Instagram on Monday, March 10, posting a video that captured Legend’s priceless reaction.
In the clip, Teigen hands Legend a large Easter egg, teasing, “I got you an Easter egg, and I put a present inside.” The 46-year-old singer, looking skeptical but amused, responds, “I don’t trust you,” with a smile. When he opens the egg, he finds a small hand flipping him the middle finger, leaving him stunned.
“Wow,” Legend says, holding up the egg, while Teigen bursts into laughter. The lighthearted prank was just one of the highlights Teigen shared from her family’s Easter celebration.
Her Instagram post also featured adorable moments with their four children: Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 2, and Wrex, 20 months. One photo shows Esti sitting in her high chair, her face smeared with chocolate as she enthusiastically declares her love for crepes. “I love crepes, I love crepes, I love crepes!” the toddler exclaims, letting Teigen to caption the post, “She loves crepes!!!!”
The post came shortly after Teigen opened up on her podcast, Self-Conscious, about her hopes for her children’s upbringing. She expressed her fear of passing on her people-pleasing tendencies to her kids.
“I’m really scared of passing this along to my kids,” Teigen admitted. “I don’t ever want them to feel like they have to perform for everybody and be good all the time. But I know sometimes I probably am that way. I do want them to be polite, and I don’t want people to think they’re just celebrity a***hole kids.”
She added, “I might go harder the other direction to make sure they don’t come off that way.”
