In a statement shared on social media, the 75-year-old singer revealed that the next four months of his tour will be rescheduled due to a medical condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe current tour will be postponed for four months to allow Billy to recover from recent surgery and undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> It also assured fans that Joel is expected to make a full recovery, with the tour set to resume on July 5, 2025, at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joel personally addressed his fans, writing, \u201cWhile I regret having to postpone any shows, my health must come first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our incredible fans. Thank you for your understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement comes after Joel\u2019s most recent performance on February 22 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the show, he briefly tripped after tossing his mic stand to a crew member at the end of \u201cIt\u2019s Still Rock and Roll to Me,\u201d though he quickly recovered and continued the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2024 has been a significant year for Joel, who released \u201cTurn the Lights Back On,\u201d his first new single since 2007. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same year also marked the end of his decade-long residency at Madison Square Garden, a milestone in his legendary career.
