Gal Gadot has revealed a harrowing health scare she faced during her pregnancy, crediting her mother for saving her life. In an interview with Good Morning America<\/em>, the Wonder Woman<\/em> star shared that she suffered a life-threatening blood clot in her brain while eight months pregnant with her fourth daughter, Ori, in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gadot, 38, recalled experiencing severe headaches for three weeks but initially dismissed them. \u201cI couldn\u2019t do anything. I was in the dark; I couldn\u2019t hear anything. It felt like my head was about to explode,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite consulting multiple neurologists, she was misdiagnosed with migraines. It was her mother who insisted on further testing, pushing for an MRI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy mom told my husband, \u2018Enough. We need to get her checked,\u2019\u201d Gadot shared. \u201cIt was like the world was ending.\u201d The MRI revealed a major blood clot, prompting an emergency C-section to deliver Ori, followed by a thrombectomy to remove the clot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Reflecting on the ordeal, Gadot expressed immense gratitude. \u201cI\u2019m very happy to be alive and so grateful for everything,\u201d she said, urging others to prioritize their health. \u201cOur body always gives us signs. Just check yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gadot also explained why she waited to share her story. \u201cIt was quite a recovery. It took me a good few months to get back to myself,\u201d she said. \u201cNow that I\u2019m here, that\u2019s the biggest reason why I talk about it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In an Instagram post announcing Ori\u2019s birth in March 2024, Gadot reflected on the meaning behind her daughter\u2019s name, which means \u201cmy light.\u201d \u201cBefore the surgery, I told Jaron that when our daughter arrived, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel,\u201d she wrote<\/p>\n\n\n\n
