Shoutout to the man upstairs for watching over us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a subsequent post, Broadus opened up about the unexpected health scare that led to her early delivery. \u201cI went to the doctor thinking I just had severe gas pains, but it turned out I was developing HELLP Syndrome,\u201d she explained. HELLP Syndrome, a rare and life-threatening pregnancy complication related to preeclampsia, affects the liver and blood and can be fatal if left untreated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The acronym stands for Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes, and Low Platelet count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Broadus emphasized the severity of her condition, writing, \u201cThe doctors told me, \u2018Thank you for coming in when you did.
