Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has found herself at the center of yet another storm, as rumors swirl about her professional relationship with one of Hollywood’s top talent agencies, WME.

Multiple sources have revealed that the agency has dropped the 43-year-old former royal after months of speculation about their partnership. However, WME has denied these claims, insisting that they continue to represent both Meghan and Archewell, the foundation she runs with her husband, Prince Harry.

According to insiders, Meghan’s relationship with WME has been strained for some time. Reports suggest that she hasn’t met with the agency’s high-powered CEO, Ari Emanuel, since January 2023, though she has reportedly maintained contact with her day-to-day agents.

The situation reportedly came to a head in January 2024, when Meghan allegedly demanded a meeting shortly after the holidays, expecting detailed presentations and plans. It’s unclear whether this request was for her personal projects or for Archewell, but the incident reportedly led to a heated dispute.

“Ari was done with her,” an industry insider revealed, adding that Meghan was perceived as “too demanding” and “difficult to work with.” While WME maintains that they are still working with her, sources claim that the agency is only involved in a handful of her Archewell projects.

Despite the drama, Meghan is forging ahead with her latest venture: a Netflix lifestyle show titled With Love, Meghan, set to debut next Tuesday. The show is expected to offer a glimpse into her life as a mother, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. However, the road to this launch hasn’t been smooth.

Meghan recently faced a setback with her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which she was forced to rebrand as As Ever due to trademark issues. Sources revealed that the products tied to the brand, including her much-hyped jam, won’t be ready for sale until months after the show’s premiere. The delay has raised eyebrows, especially as Meghan is reportedly working on the product line in collaboration with Netflix.

Meghan Markle has been repeatedly embroiled in workplace controversies, with former staffers from her time in London jokingly dubbing themselves the “Sussex Survivors Club” due to reported difficulties working with her and Prince Harry.

Buckingham Palace previously launched an inquiry into bullying allegations against her, though the findings were never disclosed. Jason Knauf, her former press secretary, recently reiterated his 2018 claims, stating that Meghan bullied staff, including forcing two personal assistants out of the household.

He described her behavior as “unacceptable” and claimed she often targeted individuals, undermining their confidence. A Vanity Fair report in January 2024 echoed these concerns, with a former staffer comparing Meghan to a “‘Mean Girls’ teenager.”

Additionally, a source involved in her Archetypes podcast at Spotify labeled the experience as “really, really, really awful” and “very painful,” further highlighting ongoing tensions in her professional relationships. These allegations continue to cast a shadow over her public image.
