Khloé Kardashian pulled out all the stops to celebrate her daughter True Thompson’s seventh birthday on April 12. The Good American co-founder, 40, documented the vibrant Rainbow Friends-themed festivities on Instagram Stories, giving fans a peek at the colorful balloons, craft stations, and an LED dance floor that lit up the party.
“It’s a neon party, so all of the slime glows in the dark… Oh my gosh, so cute,” Kardashian gushed in one clip, showcasing the playful setup. The doting mom also shared sweet moments with her birthday girl, including matching manicures with the caption, “Twinning with my angel girl.” True’s little brother, Tatum, 2—whom Kardashian also shares with ex Tristan Thompson—made adorable appearances throughout the celebration.
The name “True” holds special meaning for the Kardashian family. The reality star revealed that her grandmother, MJ Shannon, suggested it as a nod to their family history—it was her great-grandfather’s first name and grandfather’s middle name. “It stuck with me my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn’t get out of my head,” Kardashian previously shared. “I love that it’s a family name.”
Reflecting on True’s growth, Kardashian penned an emotional tribute last year for her sixth birthday, calling her daughter “my sweet, silly but serious, sensitive but strong, kind, beautiful, loving little Tutu.” She added, “You changed my life forever… You are love. My love.”
As True blows out another set of candles, Kardashian’s heartfelt words from past celebrations still ring true: “You are my heartbeat, my happiness, my soul, my truth. My Tutu forever.”
