During a candid conversation on Paltrow’s Goop Podcast, comedian Nikki Glaser shocked the Oscar-winning actress by confessing she had repeatedly swiped right on Paltrow’s ex Ben Affleck when she used the exclusive dating app Raya.
The revelation came as Glaser recounted jokes from her 2025 Golden Globes monologue about Affleck, prompting her to admit: “When I used to be on Raya and [Ben] would come across, [I would give him a] very concentrated check mark ‘yes’ and, like, never [got] it back.”
Paltrow, who dated Affleck from 1997 to 2000, seemed amused by the dating app confessions, though surprised that “many celebrities” used the platform. The discussion took a nostalgic turn as Glaser lamented her failed attempts to match with another A-lister: “Andrew Garfield’s face came up for me so many times…I know for a fact he had to have seen my profile and gone, ‘Nope.'” Paltrow playfully endorsed the missed connection, calling Garfield “gorgeous.”
The podcast episode reignited memories of Paltrow’s 2023 Call Her Daddy appearance where she compared Affleck and ex Brad Pitt in intimate terms. Married to Brad Falchuk since 2018, Paltrow had described Pitt as “major chemistry, love of your life” while praising Affleck as “technically excellent” in bed – a comment that made her blush knowing her daughter might hear it.
