Former Bachelor star Sean Lowe is recovering after his rescue dog, Moose, attacked him multiple times over two days. The first incident occurred during a barbecue when smoke set off the fire alarm, causing Moose to bite Lowe’s arm severely. Despite Lowe’s attempts to calm him, the dog attacked again, leaving deep cuts that required emergency medical care.
The next day, Moose attacked a second time as Lowe was putting his kids in the car. Lowe wrestled the dog to the ground until police arrived, fearing for his family’s safety.
Lowe, who adopted Moose in January, described the dog as previously gentle and loving. “He was my dog,” Lowe said. “We miss him, but I’m grateful it happened the way it did.” The family is now working to find Moose a safe environment while Lowe focuses on healing.
