Celebrating 20 Years of Pride & Prejudice with Theatrical Re-Release and New Merchandise

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Focus Features is re-releasing the beloved film Pride & Prejudice in theaters nationwide starting April 20. Tickets are now available for this special event, honoring the Jane Austen adaptation that captivated audiences worldwide and earned four Academy Award® nominations.

Originally released in 2005, the film, directed by Joe Wright and written by Deborah Moggach, grossed over $122 million globally. Starring Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet and Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Darcy, the movie also features Judi Dench, Donald Sutherland, Brenda Blethyn, Rosamund Pike, and Carey Mulligan in her film debut.

Adapted from Jane Austen’s classic novel, Pride & Prejudice tells the story of Elizabeth Bennet, who initially despises the proud Mr. Darcy but gradually finds herself drawn to him. In addition to the theatrical re-release, Focus Features is launching a new line of merchandise to mark the milestone. They’ve also partnered with Decca Records to release the Academy Award-nominated soundtrack, composed by Dario Marianelli and performed by Jean-Yves Thibaudet, on vinyl later this spring.

Fans can relive the magic of Pride & Prejudice on the big screen and explore the new anniversary offerings, ensuring the film’s legacy continues to inspire new generation.
