In a rare and interview for Vogue’s latest cover story, published on March 11, Gigi Hadid shared intimate details about her relationship with Bradley Cooper, which is the first time she’s publicly discussed their romance.
The 29-year-old supermodel revealed how Cooper has brought joy and inspiration into her life, particularly by reigniting her childhood passion for musical theater.
“Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more, and that’s something so special to bring back into my life,” Hadid said. She even admitted that performing in theater would be “like a dream,” though she added, “That’s scary to say to you.”
Hadid described her relationship with Cooper as “very romantic and happy,” but emphasized her desire to keep certain aspects of their love life private. “It’s just not part of our relationship to share everything for whatever reason,” she explained.
She did, however, highlight the importance of personal growth in their partnership, noting that both she and Cooper worked on themselves individually before coming together.
“Knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” Hadid said. “Then, finding someone who is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve and you both do the work separately to be the best partner you can be that’s what matters. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word.”
Hadid also expressed deep admiration for Cooper, praising his unwavering support and encouragement. “He gives so much to me: encouragement, belief, and inspiration,” she shared.
“When someone you admire believes in you, it creates so much confidence in yourself. It makes you think, ‘What’s the worst that could happen if I auditioned for this?’ You just jump and leap.”
The model’s heartfelt comments offer a glimpse into the couple’s bond, showcasing a relationship built on mutual respect, personal growth, and shared passions.
