Beyoncé Launches Cowboy Carter Tour With Historic Show Featuring All Three Children

Beyoncé kicked off her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter Tour with a spectacular three-hour performance at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on April 28, treating fans to an emotional family affair.

The 43-year-old icon delivered a career-spanning set of over 35 songs, including her full 2024 country album, while spotlighting all three of her children in milestone moments.

The show featured rare glimpses into Beyoncé’s private life, including never-before-seen home videos of 7-year-old son Sir Carter. His twin sister Rumi—who made her musical debut on Cowboy Carter’s “Protector”—joined her mother live onstage alongside big sister Blue Ivy, 13.

Blue, a seasoned performer after dancing alongside Beyoncé during the Renaissance World Tour, commanded attention in a sparkling gray ensemble that mirrored her mom’s chaps-adorned bodysuit.

Fresh off her three Cowboy Carter Grammy wins (including Album of the Year and Best Country Album), Beyoncé paid tribute to Black country pioneer Linda Martell in her acceptance speech: “I want to dedicate this to Ms. Martell… Opening doors.”

The tour’s setlist blended country experimentation with Beyoncé’s signature hits, featuring collaborations with Shaboozey (“Sweet Honey Buckiin”) and Post Malone (“Levii’s Jeans”), plus a line-dancing moment to “Texas Hold ‘Em” with Blue Ivy—a callback to their Netflix NFL halftime show performance.

After three more SoFi Stadium shows, Queen Bey’s global trek will hit Chicago, London, Paris, Houston, and beyond through 2025. With her children now integral to her artistic narrative, the Cowboy Carter era solidifies Beyoncé’s legacy as both a genre-defying innovator and a matriarch celebrating family through music.
