Kristen Stewart and screenwriter Dylan Meyer have officially married in an intimate Los Angeles ceremony. The 35-year-old actress and 37-year-old Meyer exchanged vows on Sunday at Meyer’s home before celebrating with a reception at their favorite Mexican restaurant, Casita Del Campo, according to TMZ.
The couple, who got engaged in 2021 after dating since 2019, shared their special day with 170 guests in a relaxed but festive atmosphere featuring two DJs and sushi bars – though notably no dancing, keeping with their low-key style.
Stewart had previously shared the sweet story of their unconventional proposal during a 2021 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, revealing it was Meyer who got down on one knee. “With two girls, you never know who’s gonna fulfill what weird gender role thing,” Stewart joked at the time.
“I was like, ‘No, I want to be proposed to!’ And she just grabbed that bull and made it happen. It was so cute.” The wedding marks a new chapter for Stewart, who was famously linked to Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson earlier in her career before relationships with model Stella Maxwell and stylist Sara Dinkin.
The choice of Casita Del Campo as their reception venue held special meaning for the couple, with the restaurant confirming on Instagram they were “closed for a private event day and night” on Sunday.
True to their personalities, the celebration focused on good food, music and company rather than traditional wedding fanfare, capping off their five-year journey from dating to engagement to marriage.
