Michelle Obama Launches Lifestyle Podcast, Sidesteps Politics Amid Divorce Rumors.

Michelle Obama is stepping into the podcast world with a new show, IMO (In My Opinion), alongside her brother, Craig Robinson. The video-led podcast, set to debut Wednesday, will focus on lifestyle topics, offering advice and personal stories while steering clear of politics and current events.

Produced by the Obamas’ media company, Higher Ground, in collaboration with Audible, the show promises candid conversations about family, relationships, and personal growth.

In the first two episodes, Michelle and Craig delve into deeply personal subjects, including Craig’s divorce from his first wife, Janis, in 2000, and his subsequent remarriage to Kelly McCrum Robinson in 2006.

They also touch on Michelle’s marriage to former President Barack Obama, addressing persistent rumors about their relationship, including unfounded speculation about Barack’s alleged ties to actress Jennifer Aniston.

Aniston has since denied the rumors, stating she’s only met Barack once and knows Michelle better.

The siblings also reflect on their upbringing in a small Chicago apartment, sharing a room and navigating life’s challenges together. Their discussions are rooted in life experiences, offering listeners relatable advice and insights.

The podcast will feature celebrity guests, including director Tyler Perry, actors Seth Rogen and Keke Palmer, and writer-producer Issa Rae, who joins the second episode to discuss maintaining adult friendships.

While Michelle has consistently avoided political discussions, her high-profile return to the media landscape has sparked speculation about her potential interest in running for office.

Despite her repeated denials, her podcast’s timing—amid a perceived leadership vacuum in the Democratic Party—has fueled rumors, particularly among Republicans.

Donald Trump, according to author Michael Wolff’s book All or Nothing, was reportedly intrigued by the idea of running against Michelle if she ever entered the presidential race.
